My First Story
A week ago, Realms of the Dead came out. It contains my first professionally published short story.
If I had a time machine, and I could tell myself two years ago that my first professionally published work would involve vampires and zombies, Past Me probably would have assumed Future Me was some sort of agent of the zombie apocalypse, shot first and figured out the horrible implications later. I freaking hate zombies. And vampires are essentially zombies pretty, less numerous cousins.
But presumably that makes them scarier when I write about them?
